Today, on August 19th, we observe National TB Day a day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of tuberculosis. This year, we are proud to share that the Infection Prevention and Control Services (IPCS) team at St. Vincent General Hospital (SVGH) has made a significant impact by hosting an insightful awareness class for our patients. The session covered tuberculosis transmission, symptoms, and the importance of completing treatment. The IPCS team provided essential tools for managing health, recognizing early signs, and adhering to medication.
